1933 Pierce-Arrow Model 1247 Convertible Sedan

Positioned atop Pierce-Arrow’s prestigious lineup, this model featured a potent 80-degree L-head V12 with cast iron blocks and aluminum heads, housed in a commanding 147-inch wheelbase chassis. The impressive 462 cubic-inch engine produced 175 horsepower, delivered through a three-speed manual transmission.

LeBaron’s elegant coachwork featured a straight-through beltline molding and relatively low roofline, resulting in proportions that were long, sleek, and powerful while maintaining Pierce’s traditionally conservative character. Only five examples with this exclusive LeBaron convertible sedan body style are known to survive, most residing in major collections.
