1957 Buick Super Convertible

Unlike “Special” models with smaller carburetors and lower compression, the Super featured the full 364 cu in “Nailhead” V8 with a four-barrel carb and 10:1 compression, delivering 300 hp. Nicknamed for its vertical valves and small stems, it generated 400 lb-ft of torque, giving the 4,500-lb “land yacht” surprising acceleration.
