How can people be so inhuman?
We found this pregnant mother cat tied up inside a garbage bag and dumped by the roadside near a trash bin. There is no doubt this was done intentionally by someone completely devoid of humanity.
The moment we found her, we rushed her to a vet, but the doctor told us she was already extremely sick and weak. The vet fought for hours, doing everything possible to save her life. Sadly, despite all that effort, she couldn’t be saved.
The pain we felt at that moment is impossible to put into words. Why would anyone do something so cruel to a pregnant mother cat? At the very least, if she had been taken to a vet, she could have given birth and survived. There are so many people in this world who love animals—if she had been handed over to even one such person, she would still be alive today.
Now there is nothing more we can do. I still cannot comprehend how people capable of such cruelty exist in our society.
