She arrived quietly, barely recognizable as a cat, her small body trapped beneath years of heavy matted fur that pulled at her skin and stole her comfort.
Every step looked painful, every movement slow, as if the weight of neglect had settled deep into her bones and heart.

Her owner was gone, and with that loss came silence, empty bowls, and no gentle hands to help her anymore.
She waited without understanding, carrying confusion and loneliness until her body could barely carry her at all.

When shelter staff finally saw her, they stood still in shock, knowing this sweet soul had suffered far too long without a voice to ask for help.
