She’s sterile. I adopted her a few years ago, knowing she would never have kittens of her own. And yet tonight, she brought me a baby. A tiny, abandoned kitten she found outside and gently placed at my feet.
As if she was saying, “He needs help. You saved me — now it’s our turn.”
My heart melted. That gesture, so pure and instinctive, moved me deeply. She may not be able to have babies, but she chose to become a mother in her own way.
And now, I’ll help her. We’re keeping him. He’ll have two moms — one with whiskers, and one with an open heart.♥️
