I once met two cats who looked almost the same.
One lived inside a warm home.
It slept on a couch, knew the sound of a door opening, and trusted that food would come.
The other lived outside.
It slept wherever it could find shelter, learned to be alert, and hoped each day would be kind.
Different lives.
The same heart.
Both felt fear.
Both felt comfort when it was offered.
Both loved just as deeply.
That’s when I understood something simple but true — love should never depend on where a cat sleeps or who it belongs to. A life is a life, and every heart feels the same.
Whether waiting patiently by a door or quietly wandering the streets, they are all asking for the same thing:
to be seen, to be safe, and to be loved.
Every cat deserves kindness.
Every cat deserves protection.
Every cat deserves a place to feel wanted.
