Why have people become this cruel…
I found this mother cat, heavily pregnant, abandoned near a pile of trash.
It had just started to snow. I was taking a shortcut home when I saw her there — and I froze in shock. She didn’t even have the strength to cry for help. She couldn’t move, couldn’t escape, couldn’t survive on her own.

I don’t know if someone dumped her there or if she had been suffering in that place for a long time. What I do know is this: no one who came to throw garbage could have missed seeing her. There is no excuse for turning away.

The cold was unbearable, even for us — and she was there, about to give birth, helpless in the snow.

Animals may not be able to speak, but God… they are such loving, innocent souls.

I couldn’t just go home. I called a taxi and took her straight to the vet. The doctor said she is extremely weak and that she is very close to giving birth. I asked the vet to keep her until she delivers and recovers, and then I will take her and her babies home.

I honestly don’t understand how humans can do this to innocent lives.
I just can’t understand it at all.
