If you don’t love them, please don’t hurt them—can we all agree on that?
Yesterday, while I was setting up my stall by the road, I spotted a cat lying motionless on the sidewalk. When I got closer, I realized it had already passed away. It was so skinny and malnourished, my heart ached just looking at it. I asked the nearby property management staff if they could handle the body, but they said they’d just throw it in the trash. That sentence hit me right in the gut—tears welled up instantly.
In the end, I found a bag, wrapped it gently, and carried it away. I buried it under a big tree, hoping to let it rest in peace. May that tree shelter it from wind and rain in the years to come… and may it never be a stray cat again in its next life. 🐾
