In Gaithersburg, Maryland, a brave cat named Prince became a true hero. When a fire broke out in the middle of the night, smoke alarms weren’t working—but Prince didn’t give up. He pawed at his family to wake them, giving them the chance to escape the burning home.
Thanks to his warning, three people made it out safely using a ladder. Tragically, Prince ran back inside and lost his life to smoke inhalation.
His courage and loyalty saved lives. Prince will always be remembered as more than a pet—he was family, a guardian, and a hero. 🕯️🐱❤️
