1934 Packard 1104 Super Eight Coupe Roadster

The Eleventh Series is often considered to be the ultimate Senior Packard, as it was the last of the traditional full-classic Packards before the company’s move toward more streamlined styling in subsequent years.

Produced from August 1933 until August 1934, the 1104 rode on a 142-inch wheelbase and was powered by a 385 cubic-inch straight eight rated at 145 horsepower. Advanced features included Bijur centralized chassis lubrication and vacuum-assisted mechanical drum brakes.

The Model 1104 was offered in a wide range of body styles for 1934, including Coupe, Coupe-Roadster, Phaeton, Sport Phaeton, Sedan, Club Sedan, Convertible Sedan, Convertible Victoria, Formal Sedan, and Touring configurations. The Coupe Roadster represented one of the most desirable open configurations on this prestigious chassis.

Total Eleventh Series Super Eight production (including the 1103, 1104, and 1105) is generally cited at approximately 1,920 units, making these automobiles exceptionally rare today.
