Being born as a stray cat in the USA is not a good fate.

Today, my son and I came across a cat lying in the middle of the road. We were on our way for a personal matter when we saw the cat had been hit by a vehicle.

What hurt the most was realizing that many vehicles had already passed by before we arrived. Even the vehicle that hit the cat did not stop or look back.

If someone had taken the cat to a vet immediately after the accident, there might have been a chance to save its life. But because the cat was a stray, perhaps no one felt responsible.

I stopped the car right away. My son quickly got out to check. Then he said, “Daddy, the cat is already dead.”
Those words broke my heart.

We moved the cat to the side of the road. At that moment, that was all we could do.

I wanted to dig a grave and bury the cat, but the area did not allow it. With our journey continuing, it was also very difficult to find a proper place to take the cat and bury it.

If there had been even a small chance of life left, we would have set aside our important work without a second thought and rushed the cat to a vet.

Even now, I still cannot calm my heart after this incident. I am a very emotional person, and this experience has stayed with me deeply.
Now you’re free from pain, wrapped in love, and watching over us until we meet again. 💔🌈🐾
