1930 Renault Vivasix Tourer
Positioned at the upper tier of Renault’s diverse lineup, this French luxury automobile represented the manufacturer’s commitment to long-distance grand touring capabilities. The Tourer body style offered open-air motoring with elegant proportions that reflected the sophisticated design philosophy of late 1920s French coachwork.
Built on a substantial chassis, the Vivasix featured classic pre-war styling with flowing fenders and a distinctive radiator grille.
Power came from a 3.2-liter (3,180cc) inline six-cylinder engine, designed to deliver comfortable and reliable performance for extended journeys across France and beyond. This engine enabled a top speed of approximately 110 km/h (68 mph), making it capable of sustained cruising on the improved roads of the era.
Renault produced the Vivasix from 1926 through 1930, when it was succeeded by the Vivastella.
