She didn’t make it through the night.
Her name was Primrose. I got her back in 2012, right around the time The Hunger Games started getting really popular thus the name. She had this way about her: always so serious, but so full of love. She never complained, never asked for much. Just patient, loyal, and always there for me.
It’s so hard to say goodbye to someone I still can’t believe I’ve lost. Honestly, I didn’t know where else to put this, but I’ve been having a really hard time, and I wanted to share her with you all. She loved the smell of peppermint, she’d always sleep in the closet with my shoes, even though she had a cat tree and more beds than she could ever need.
That was just her. Every cat is unique and I feel like she was made just for me. And I’ll miss her more than I can put into words.
