1931 Marmon Sixteen Convertible Sedan (by LeBaron)
The Marmon Sixteen, envisioned by Colonel Howard Marmon, featured clean, sporty lines without excessive ornamentation, perfectly matching the era’s aesthetic. Its innovative all-aluminum V-16 engine produced 200 horsepower from 490 cubic inches. Surprisingly, it could outperform a Duesenberg Model J but at only a third of the cost, making it an incredible performance bargain for its time, priced at $5,000. Only about 75 examples remain today.
