When Sammy walked into the shelter, she wasn’t planning on having her heart stolen by a little cat with a very unusual face.

Sitting quietly in the back of his enclosure, barely noticed by the visitors walking by, was Mr. Peanut, a cat that had already been through more than his fair share of heartbreak.
His previous owner had passed away, and the shelter became his new, unfamiliar home.
Sadly, no one showed interest in taking him in.

Most days, you’ll find Mr. Peanut lounging on the couch, enjoying a long nap, or staring lovingly at his human.
Sammy often jokes that they have staring contests, and judging by the photos she posts, he’s definitely the reigning champion.
