1953 Chrysler New Yorker Town & Country Wagon
While most station wagons of the era were underpowered utility vehicles, the New Yorker Town & Country was a beast. It featured the legendary 331-cubic-inch “FirePower” V8, the first generation of the Chrysler Hemi. Producing 180 horsepower, it was significantly more powerful than the wagons from Cadillac or Lincoln.
