A 12-year-old cat named Mirage somehow survived a 380-foot fall in Utah’s Bryce Canyon National Park — a fall that tragically took the lives of her owners.
When rescuers reached the scene, they found Mirage inside a torn carrier next to the couple. Despite fractured ribs and chipped teeth, this brave girl was still alive — meowing softly and holding on.
She’s now recovering at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Kanab, Utah, where staff say she’s eating, drinking, and showing her sweet personality again. 💕
They call her survival nothing short of a miracle. 🌈
