This is my boy, Pollo. He’s 9 months. He’s the definition of a scaredy cat and I don’t really know how to help him trust us more. He was found outside and was brought inside by someone as a kitten (his mom was brought in too), but he was a spicy boy when I met him. I brought him home and at first he was cuddly and sweet but skittish. He still is very skittish and will hiss if he thinks we’re cornering him (which in reality we’re just going into the same room as him lol). I know we’re late to the game of getting him fixed which we plan on doing next month after getting home from vaca, would that help boost his confidence? Idk how to make him trust us and not wanna run away everytime we get low and reach out for him to sniff us. Pls don’t get rude, I’m just looking for advice. We have 2 other cats that he loves and does well with them! He will take treats from us but will run away once he knows there’s no more. TIA!
