We almost didn’t hear them.
Rain was falling hard.
The road was noisy.
Life was moving on.

Somewhere on the side of the street,
three tiny lives were crying —
not loud,
just enough to survive.

They had been left there.
Cold. Wet. Weak.

If we had walked past,
if we had ignored that sound,
this story would have ended differently.

We rushed them to the vet.
One is very weak.
The others are stable — for now.

They don’t know they were abandoned.
They only know someone came back.

Sometimes,
being human
is simply stopping. ❤️
