Cordova has been waiting inside a shelter for over 700 days, watching people walk past her gentle eyes without stopping.
She does not cry or reach out, she simply curls into her bed and waits, carrying a heart that has been ignored for far too long.

Abandoned as a young cat and later left with a smile changed by painful dental surgery, Cordova was never broken, only different.
Her sweet tongue peeks out, her eyes stay soft, yet day after day she is overlooked for something she cannot change.

While other cats go home, Cordova stays behind, calm and quiet, dreaming of a peaceful place where she is finally chosen.
All she has ever wanted is a warm corner, gentle hands, and someone who sees her heart before her smile.
