Three days have passed, and the cat still refuses to come out of the closet; he just stares at me with his little eyes.

The canned food I just left out? He doesn’t eat it right away. He waits until I leave, making sure the room is quiet. If he hears any noise, he immediately crawls back into the closet and hides.

The kitten is already a few months old. I was told he’s been in several homes, so he’s not very confident and doesn’t trust people very much.

His timidity breaks my heart. I hope to earn her love and make her understand that this will be her forever home.
