Meet Ruby 🖤🤍

Not long ago, this sweet soul wasn’t lying on a warm blanket.

She was a tiny, shy kitten hiding in the darkest corner of a shelter cage… injured, scared, and already marked to be put down the next day.

Ruby’s little front leg didn’t work at all. She dragged it quietly, like she had already accepted pain as her normal life. Even worse, the leg caused open wounds, and people believed she had been left behind like she didn’t matter.

But one shelter volunteer saw her. Really saw her.

Instead of walking away, she whispered to Ruby, lifted her gently, and chose to fight for her. Ruby was taken to a specialist, then through surgery, and even a scary infection and fever that almost took her life.

Everyone thought she wouldn’t make it… but Ruby held on.

And now look at her.

Safe. Warm. Loved.

Still the same shy baby… but no longer forgotten.
