Why are people so inhuman?
This little kitten was hit by a vehicle and left lying in the grass beside a road near a park in San Diego. It looks like it struggled there for a long time before passing away, because the grass all around it is flattened.
This happened on a road that runs alongside a public park, where many people drive through and park their cars every day. If someone had taken this kitten to a hospital immediately after the accident, it might still be alive today.
The person who hit it cannot be called a human — they drove away knowingly. There’s no way someone wouldn’t notice if they hit such a small animal. By the time I found the kitten, it was already too late.
This kitten definitely had an owner. I informed the park’s security guard about what happened so it could be handled properly.
