1959 Cadillac Series 62

The Cadillac Series 62 defined the “jet age” aesthetic with its distinctive tailfins and chrome accents. The design featured a striking silhouette with clean lines extending from front to rear, perfectly complementing the bumper. Under the hood, a powerful 390 cubic inch V-8 engine generated 325 horsepower, paired with an automatic transmission. The 130-inch wheelbase supported various luxury additions including power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, and a convertible top option. One advertisement exclaimed “We know you will agree that it is the world’s nicest place to sit.â€
