Blue was found alone in the pouring rain, her tiny body soaked and trembling. Abandoned, cold, and barely alive, she seemed to carry the weight of a cruel world on her fragile shoulders. Volunteers rushed her to a nearby shelter, where it quickly became clear that Blue was in critical condition—the most ill cat many of them had ever seen.
