A tiny black kitten was spotted terrified in the middle of US Highway 441 in Alachua, Florida. With cars speeding by just inches away, the situation was extremely dangerous!
A quick-thinking truck driver noticed the kitten first. He immediately stopped his truck to block one lane of traffic, creating a safe space. Moments later, Officer Stanfield of the Alachua Police Department arrived. He carefully approached the kitten, scooped it up 🐾, and brought it to safety.
The rescue was captured on body camera footage 🎥, showing Officer Stanfield cradling the tiny kitten in his hands. The kitten was later adopted by one of the department’s dispatchers 🏡❤️, giving her a loving forever home.
