23,000 Miles of Time Capsule: ’64 Impala Rescued From a Collapsing Barn

After sitting hidden for three decades inside a collapsing barn, this 1964 Chevrolet Impala has finally seen daylight again — and the craziest part? It shows just 23,000 original miles on the clock.

Discovered by the folks at Iron City Garage, this Super Sport is a true time capsule. Despite years of storage, the car remains surprisingly intact, with its original character still shining through the dust and patina. It was originally equipped with a 327 cubic-inch V8, and now it’s getting the attention it deserves.

Some cars get forgotten. This one got a second chance.
