Woman Saves Cat Thrown From Parking Garage Witnesses say a group of kids laughed as they threw a tiny kitten off a parking garage. Most people froze. But one woman ran toward the sound of the fall. At the vet, X-rays revealed the unthinkable, over 50 broken bones. The doctors warned she might never walk again. But the woman refused to give up.
Every night, she wrapped the fragile kitten and laid her gently on her neck to sleep, so if she was hungry or needed to go, a tiny lick would wake her up. That’s how they made it through the nights together, one breath, one heartbeat at a time.
Months later, the kitten healed. But even now, she still sleeps curled up on her rescuer’s neck, not because she needs help anymore, but because that’s where love began.
