Ford introduced the original Bronco in 1966 as a compact four-wheel-drive competitor to the Jeep CJ-5 and International Harvester Scout. Tough and purposeful, the first generation changed relatively little over its 12-year production run through 1977, earning a devoted following that has only intensified in the decades since.
Stretched into a four-door, six-passenger configuration, this custom 1969 Ford Bronco represents a thorough reimagining of one of the most sought-after first-generation off-roaders.
The body is finished in Seal Gray over a replacement steel tub with an integrated roll cage and a three-inch off-road suspension lift, while Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes and alloy wheels (wrapped in 35-inch Falken Wildpeak M/T tires) complete the exterior transformation. A Bikini top reinforces its open-air character.
Power comes from a Ford 5.0-liter Coyote V-8 paired with a six-speed 6R80 automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case.
Inside, marine-grade Saddle vinyl upholstery echoes the factory seat pattern, while modern additions (air conditioning, Bluetooth audio, and a tilt steering column) blend into a dashboard designed to preserve the period look. A 23-gallon fuel tank and push-button starter round out the upgrades.
