There’s a popular donut shop in Chapin, South Carolina, called Chickenbutt Donuts. It has been featured in numerous media reports—not for any special flavors, but for a chubby cat that shows up promptly every day, rain or shine.
This tuxedo cat named Oreo has been arriving at the shop’s door around 5:30 AM every morning since the end of 2023, vying to be the first “customer” to enter. Sitting upright with sharp eyes, it’s just like the shop’s doorkeeper. The store humorously posted a photo on Facebook with the caption: “We open at 6 AM— the line starts behind this guy.”
