Someone told me today that it’s “gross” to let a black cat sleep on your bed.
And honestly? If this is gross… then I’m proud of it.
Because this moment right here — this soft, mysterious black cat curled up on my pillow, purring gently like they own the whole bed — this is my peace after a long day.
People love to judge without ever really understanding.
But this one?
The gentlest black cat I’ve ever met.
The one who quietly curls up beside me when the day feels heavy.
The one who rests their head on the pillow like they finally know they’re safe.
The one who turns an ordinary bed into the warmest place in the world with their soft fur and calm presence.
To some people it might look like just a black cat on a bed.
But to me, it’s comfort.
It’s trust.
It’s a rescued black cat finally sleeping without fear.
And honestly?
I wouldn’t trade this view or this sleepy cuddle bug beside me for anything in the world.
