📦🐾 What started as a normal workday at a Liverpool warehouse turned into a life-saving mission…
Employees at Makro began hearing faint, desperate meows coming from deep inside a cardboard compactor. They quickly realized something was very wrong and called in the RSPCA.
When Inspector Vicki Brooks arrived, she discovered a mama cat peeking through a tiny hole in the container — her kitten was trapped somewhere behind her, crying out. 💔
Turns out, this brave mom had crawled into the bin to give birth… and got trapped as more and more cardboard was thrown in. No food, no water, no way out.
Employees and rescuers spent hours digging through layers of tightly packed cardboard in the sweltering heat, desperate to save them. “In 21 years with the RSPCA, I’ve never seen anything like this,” Brooks said. “It’s a miracle they survived.”
They fed the mama cat through the tiny gap, hoping to keep her alive until they could reach her. After working into the night, they paused—only to return the next day and find mama had squeezed her way out… but her kitten was still stuck inside.
After more careful work, the little fighter was finally pulled to safety. They named him Biff. 🐱
Though his mom is still missing, the RSPCA hasn’t stopped searching. Meanwhile, little Biff is safe, healing, and now cuddling up with two other orphaned kittens, Chip and Kipper, in foster care. 🐾💕
He never stopped crying for help — and it saved his life. Now, he’s getting all the love he deserves. ❤️
