This exclusive four-door wagon featured distinctive styling elements that set it apart from lesser Pontiac models, including Star Chief script plates on the front fenders and four decorative stars within the concave rear fender insert panels.
The sleek exterior showcased Pontiac’s all-new 1958 design language with a wide honeycomb grille, quad headlights, and a longer, lower profile than previous years. Standard equipment included a deluxe steering wheel, electric clock, roof rack, and horizontal tailgate moldings.
The spacious interior carried Star Chief-level appointments with premium seat fabrics and trim, while overall dimensions included a 122-inch wheelbase and 213.7-inch length (almost 18 ft), giving the wagon a commanding presence on the road.
Under the hood sat Pontiac’s 370-cubic-inch V8 engine, producing 255 horsepower with a manual transmission or 285 horsepower when paired with the Strato-Flight Hydra-Matic automatic. Optional Tri-Power carburetion raised output to 300 horsepower for performance-minded buyers.
