1970 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible
Collectors consider the LT-1 option among the most desirable Corvettes ever produced, with only 1,287 examples built in 1970. Of these, just 400 were convertibles, making them exceptionally rare.
The C3 Stingray featured a sleek body with concealed headlights, hidden windshield wipers, and flowing fender lines that helped define American sports car design of the era.
The LT-1 engine was Chevrolet’s high-performance 350 cubic inch small-block V8, rated at 370 gross horsepower.
This powerplant could be paired with the close-ratio M22 “Rock Crusher” four-speed manual transmission and a Positraction rear end. Four-wheel disc brakes provided stopping power to match the impressive acceleration.
