After a month of tireless searching and heartbreak, Strawberry Shortcake, a sweet cat who survived a tragic transport crash, has finally returned home.
The crash claimed the lives of nine cats, leaving Furkids Animal Rescue devastated as they searched for the missing animals. Despite losing hope, a sighting of a small, skittish cat led to a miraculous reunion.
Weak and malnourished, Strawberry Shortcake was found, safe and alive, and taken for immediate care. Although she had lost 20% of her body weight, she was otherwise healthy and ready to begin her recovery.
