1950 Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 Super Sport Coupe

The 1950 Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 Super Sport Coupe by Touring represents one of the last hand-built Alfa Romeos and a pinnacle of post-war Italian automotive design. Built on Alfa’s 6C 2500 chassis, the Super Sport variant featured a 2.5-liter inline-six engine producing around 110 horsepower, making it one of the fastest cars of its era.

Carrozzeria Touring clothed the chassis in their signature Superleggera bodywork, utilizing a lightweight tubular frame covered with aluminum panels. The result was an elegant fastback design with flowing lines, characterized by the distinctive Alfa Romeo shield grille and delicate chrome details.

The interior featured fine leather upholstery and comprehensive instrumentation typical of high-end Italian sports cars. With only a small number produced, these cars represent some of the most sought-after post-war Alfa Romeos among collectors.
