He was different, and the other cats made sure he knew it. This white cat was getting bullied by other cats for being white. The woman who fostered the cats noticed the white cat alone underneath the cat house. He would sit there, isolated, while the others huddled together.

Afraid that he will be swept away by the heavy rain, she moved him into the cat house where he was originally. But the cruelty didn’t stop. Later on, she checked on the cats only to find the white cat sleeping alone, as if he had just been kicked out of the cat group. Saddened by this, she decided to build him a new home so he can feel safer.

Why White Cats Are Often Rejected
Among cats, white cats are considered the least desirable as they are usually less healthy. Many white cats are deaf. They are also the easiest for predators to spot. So most cats avoid mating with a white cat. This deep instinct to survive makes them outcasts, even among their own kind.
As the lady was building the cat house, other cats were curious enough to check it out. But this house was not for them. Once she completed the new house for the white cat, she made a sign specifically for the white kitty. It was a small gesture, but it meant the world to him.

A New Beginning
The white cat settled right in. That night, she got a surprise when she noticed that the white kitty made a new friend. He would never be kicked out alone into the cold again. Finally, he had a place to call his own—and someone to share it with.
