1968 Alfa Romeo Carabo

The 1968 Alfa Romeo Carabo concept car was based on the 33 Stradaleโ€™s mechanicals and was a collaboration between Alfa Romeo and Bertone styling house. It was powered by an all-aluminum 1995cc V8 engine and had a top speed of 160mph.

The Caraboโ€™s design, with its wedge-shaped profile, hidden headlights, and front-hinged wing doors, revolutionized the automotive industry and inspired many iconic cars, including the Lamborghini Countach and Lancia Stratos Zero. The Carabo remained a one-off, but its styling had a lasting impact on automotive design.
