1979 BMW Alpina B6 2.8

Production of the Alpina B6 2.8 began in November 1978, utilizing the BMW 323i chassis code E21 as its base and boasting numerous performance enhancements courtesy of the Bavarian tuner.

The 2.8-liter inline six-cylinder engine received several upgrades, including forged Mahle pistons, modified combustion chambers, and a higher compression ratio, with a Zenith-Pierburg-DL fuel-injection system further boosting power and fuel efficiency.
