This owl can vanish into a tree trunk without moving a single feather.

The Crested Owl inhabits the tropical forests of Central and South America. During the day, it remains perfectly still against broken branches and tree bark, relying on exceptional camouflage. At night, it silently hunts insects, small mammals, reptiles, and birds beneath the forest canopy.

A phantom of the rainforest, where patience and perfect camouflage are its greatest weapons.
