This bird was once on the brink of extinction.

The Northern Bald Ibis inhabits rocky cliffs and open landscapes in parts of North Africa and the Middle East. It feeds on insects, reptiles, and other small animals by probing the ground with its long curved bill, while conservation efforts have helped bring this remarkable species back from the edge.

A survivor against the odds, proving that hope can take flight again.
