This tiny bird is so small it can disappear into the undergrowth in an instant.

The Chestnut-headed Tesia inhabits dense forests across the Himalayas and Southeast Asia. It spends most of its time near the forest floor, hopping through thick vegetation in search of insects, spiders, and other tiny invertebrates while rarely venturing into the open.

A hidden spirit of the understory, proving that the smallest birds often leave the biggest impression.
