This tiny bird spends most of its life hidden beneath the forest’s leafy floor.
The Chestnut-headed Tesia is a small warbler found in the mountain forests of South and Southeast Asia. Its rich chestnut head, olive-green back, and surprisingly loud song make it easier to hear than to see. Constantly hopping through dense undergrowth, it searches for insects, spiders, and other tiny invertebrates among fallen leaves and moss.
A secretive jewel of the forest, proving that some of nature’s most remarkable voices come from its smallest birds.
