The Pin-tailed Parrotfinch is a colorful finch found across parts of Southeast Asia and the western Pacific. Its vivid green plumage, bright red face and rump, and slender pointed tail make it one of the most eye-catching members of the finch family. It feeds mainly on grass seeds, bamboo seeds, and small insects, often moving through forests, grasslands, and forest edges in small, active flocks.
