Many dog owners soon realize that their pups enjoy having a companion when their humans are away at work.

This leads them to adopt another furry friend, making their home even more wonderful and full of love.

While many people opt for a dog that’s friendly and playful, one woman’s experience was a bit different when she visited a shelter in Arizona.

A Familiar Face

When Jourdan Skirha visited the shelter, she noticed a dog that looked just like her own pup, Bandit.

She approached him and quickly realized that his behavior and mannerisms were strikingly similar to Bandit’s. At that moment, she knew she had to adopt him.

After giving it some thought, Jourdan signed the adoption papers for the dog, now named Beau.

Jourdan took Bandit with her to the Arizona adoption center. She shared with The Dodo: “We just kind of trotted out of the adoption center together. We hopped in the car together. It seemed like we were already a family.”

At that moment, she felt certain that Bandit and Beau would be fast friends, and she had made the right choice.

As soon as they arrived home, Beau and Bandit started playing together, and it was clear they were meant to be best buddies.

Instant Best Friends

It was as if they had known each other their whole lives. Jourdan couldn’t help but smile as she watched them bond so quickly.

She said: “These two are just totally in sync. They play together. They nap together. They drink water at the same time. And they even stare at me in the same way.”

As Beau grew, Jourdan noticed that the spots on his body became more defined, and he started to resemble Bandit even more.

She couldn’t help but feel deeply grateful to her coworker who had shown her Beau. It felt like fate brought them together.

Not only did Beau complete Jourdan’s life, but he also brought joy to Bandit, giving him a new best friend to play with every day.

Jourdan shared: “Bandit has become the best big brother, and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for him and Beau.”

It’s heartwarming to realize just how much adopting a sweet dog can change our lives. Dogs have an incredible ability to bring love and happiness into our homes, and if we let them, they’ll make our world a much brighter place.
