One morning, Madison went out to check on her chickens and found someone unexpected — a little dog curled up inside the chicken coop, waiting for someone to notice her.
“Oh my goodness,” Madison exclaimed in a video on TikTok. “Did you move in with the chickens?”
A Surprising Discovery in the Chicken Coop
Madison had spotted the pup passing through her yard a few times before but had never been able to catch her. But this time, when she found the pup, the dog was ready. She let Madison pet her right away, eager for some love.
“I came to get eggs, and I found a puppy in my chicken coop,” Madison said.
The poor little pup, later named Livy, was cold and shivering. Madison quickly brought her inside and set her up in the bathroom. She put down food, and Livy eagerly gobbled it up. Next came a warm bath. Livy was nervous at first, but she trusted Madison and allowed her to be bathed.
After the bath, Livy snuggled up with Madison, feeling safe and loved for the first time. “I’m going to baby her until I find someone to come get her,” Madison said.
Livy’s New Beginning
Though Madison wasn’t in a position to adopt another pet, she posted about Livy on TikTok, and soon enough, people reached out wanting to adopt the sweet pup.
Before long, Livy found her forever home. “She’s never gonna have to worry a day in her life ever again,” Madison said.
