Shadow’s world fell apart when her owner abandoned her on the streets simply because she was ill and injured.

At the clinic, the vet immediately took her in for a thorough examination.

After running several tests, they found that she was suffering from mange and anaplasmosis, a tick-borne bacterial infection.

Shadow gazed at the vet team and her rescuers, her eyes filled with sorrow, silently begging them not to abandon her like her family had.

But these kind souls promised her they wouldn’t. They were determined to help her heal and give her a fresh start.

As the vet carefully shaved her fur, Shadow stayed calm, trusting that better days were ahead.

The clinic team began giving Shadow soothing medicated baths to ease her irritated skin and relieve the constant itching. They also put her on a course of oral medication and antibiotics to fight off her anaplasmosis.

Throughout her stay, the vet staff went above and beyond for Shadow. They showered her with affection, offering gentle cuddles and constant encouragement, making sure she knew she was deserving of all the love in the world.
