In a video shared on her TikTok account,@wilfredthedestroyer, she shared Olaf’s emotional story with her followers. After three months of fostering with no adoption applications, she decided to bring him to an adoption event, hoping for a breakthrough.
She had hoped that day would finally be Olaf’s lucky one, but her hopes quickly crumbled when they arrived.
She shared that many people showed interest in the sweet Great Pyrenees at first.
Sadly, the moment they learned about his condition, they turned away without a second thought. This harsh reality was devastating, shattering her heart in the process.
The video caption shares the heartbreaking truth: “Olaf has a neurological condition that causes weakness in his back legs. He can still walk, run, and play – but he’s a bit unsteady and has trouble with stairs. This has made it incredibly hard to find him a forever home. People just don’t want a large dog with special needs.”
