That someone was a woman named Elaine Seamans. She was no stranger to rough cases.

Valentino was rushed into care, and vets confirmed what they already suspected; it was a serious case of sarcoptic mange.

But for the first time in a long time, Valentino had a team fighting for him.

And that’s when people started to see him properly, not as the “sick” cat or the “untouchable” cat, but as the gentle, affectionate animal he really was.

As he recovered, he moved into a foster home with a woman named Tania Menjivar.
