Upon witnessing the footage, the man reached out to a compassionate vet and dog rescuer, Dr. Nathy.

Hearing the dog’s tragic story, she wasted no time. The very next day, she hurried to the spot, where she found the Pittie lying in despair—a heartbreaking secret hidden within.

It hadn’t been clear the night before, but this brave Pittie was carrying a litter, just days away from giving birth.

Nathy’s heart sank as she realized the poor dog had been abandoned in such a vulnerable state. Wasting no time, she gently lifted the dog into her car and took her home.

The dog, soon to be called Laura, needed immediate care and a warm, safe place to rest. With her round belly, it was clear she was on the brink of giving birth.
